The search box is not displayed

Describe the issue

Hello, my plugin has a password set. When I enter the password for the first time, the search box doesn't show up, so I can't perform searches. I have to close and reopen it to see the search box. Could you please help me solve this issue?

i was just join going to open this issue, and saw that someone else had opened it already.
it is very annoying to have to reopen the extension after login inorder to search
can this please be fixed?
