Description

After latest update from 1.4.3 to 1.4.4 login with password in build in lock screen do not work. I have enabled fingerprint login but i fingerprint is disabled at first, when i type anything and type enter loading icon apears and fingerprint reader is avtivated - then i can put finger and unlock computer. It doesn't matter whether I enter the right or wrong password nothing happend. I can only unlock my computer with fingerprint not password, but only after type something in password field and hit enter.

All of this option don't work on my setup

I'm having the same issue. I'm running the latest Fedora Bluefin with dms, ghostty, niri, xwayland-satellite layered on top.

I have the exact same issue on NixOS unstable with the dms flake. Running Niri.

Hey everyone, thanks for the reports. Since we have so many open threads, i'm closing this out in favor of #1911. You add your reports/logs there and track #1101. Finally, if you're a NixOS flake user, see open PR #2071 as it may resolve the issue.

As an aside to the #1911. Non NixOS users should run dms greeter sync if they haven't and reboot to see if that fixes your issue.
