Changes in a small file not reflected on the host side

Describe the bug
The issue seems to happen when guest is typing in a small file, e.g.:

[type here]
}

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Join a session using IntelliJ.
2. Open a small file.
3. Start typing.
4. Changes are not reflected on the host side and file content keeps getting reverted.

Expected behavior
All changes are visible on the host side and file is not being reverted.

Issue does not happen in larger files.
