Context
At the moment, the same UI of the edge component is being displayed regardless of whether it's connected to a Core or not.
If the Edge is not connected to any Core, the functionalities mentioned in the UI are not working.
Solution
If the Edge component has not been connected to any Core (adopted) yet, and a user tries to access the Edge UI, display a page explaining that:
- Enrolment and password reset are disabled. Please contact your administrator.
- Alternatively, display a blurred and disabled version of the current UI with an overlay modal with the message above.
This will be a much better UX for the users and should minimise support issues.
