This is the initial official release of the OpenPBR Shader Playground asset for the Academy Software Foundation's Digital Production Example Library (DPEL).

OpenPBR Shader Playground is contributed to DPEL by Adobe under the ASWF Digital Assets License v1.1. Please see LICENSE.md for usage and copyright details.

  • Initially created by Nikie Monteleone using Adobe Substance and Maya with Arnold, with contributions from Vladimir Petkovic
  • Converted to OpenUSD by Charles Anderson using Omniverse
  • Restructured to decouple OpenUSD (.usda) and MaterialX (.mtlx) domains by Andréa Machizaud
  • Updated to OpenPBR v1.1 specification by Andréa Machizaud
  • Additional contributions by Matthew Low
