Sometimes it's fun to do something random every so often.

Baddy Be Ballin is a 7.5 room map all about making trick shots or long throws so that you may use the result at the right time and place. Whether dribbling the ball to stay off the ground or just bouncing the ball off five surfaces to get it in the right place, one truth remains: you shall be ballin

This map was made for the Alphabet Challenge (or a "Letter Map" as referred to by most mappers), which requires the mapper to only use entities/triggers staring with a specific letter (with a few exceptions). This map's letter was "B"
A singular extra exception was made: a vanilla variant trigger to make the player consistently Badeline. This is possible to go without due to xml nonsense with SMH+ and a badeline skin copy, but I'd rather just save everyone time and space by not shipping an entire vanilla badeline copy.

This map features a total of four main mechanics. Basketballs from Frigo Helper, Boosting Boosters from Femto Helper, Bounce Mode from Bounce Helper, and Baddy Power Set from Meli Helper.

Since there are no in-map explanations, the basic rundown of each mechanics is as follows:

Basketballs are highly bouncy throwables that are naturally throwable in 8 directions. Inverted basketballs have no gravity, purple basketballs add their speed to the player when grabbed.

Boosting Boosters causes the player to get a pufferfish explosion shortly after the booster is broken. Entering the booster is not required for this boost, although that usually is the easiest way to use it.

Bounce Mode removes climbing in return for extra dash tech and proper 8-directional throwing (namely vertical recoil). The new dash tech can be done from walls. Don't worry about knowing the new tech though, other mechanics make it so boosters are the only places where these new techs can be done (which makes the options highly limited)

Baddy Power Set replaces all normal dashes with a pellet. This pellet can interact with other entities and will recoil the player in the opposite direction.

Warning for Analog Players: The deadzones for the 8-directional throws from Basketballs and Bounce Mode are not the same! You may end up throwing the basketballs forward on accident instead of diagonally a few times.

Estimated Difficulty: Somewhere in Expert

",
