Login issue in pycharm and OSx

When login is tried, I get this screen stuck:

Solutions tried:

1. clear cache of pycharm
2. disable proxy
3. remove ~/.codeium. I am not sure if it was ever there, but I don't see that directory at all.
4. uninstalled and installed the plugin multiple times
5. changed the Java version too (multiple versions tried)
