Android integration: Make File-Manager selectable as a 'default app', so it appears in 'Complete action using'

Feature description

When opening a file location (in e.g. Microsoft Phone Link on a received file), a popup appears for this
'Complete action using' action containing a list of file manager apps without File-Manager.
After selecting the app it can be selected the action should Once, or Always use this app.
File-Manager cannot be selected as a 'default app'.

Why do you want this feature?

To link/integrate/use File-Manager with other apps consistent.
Otherwise I have to use another file manager when opening a file (location) from another app (e.g. Link for Windows)

Could you name some file managers that appear on the list? Please also share your device info and Microsoft Link version.

I have tested with a couple of file managers, and none of them appear as an option for the "Open file location" button in the Microsoft Link (Link to Windows) app. The button directly launches Google Files and crashes if Google Files is disabled.

The latest Link to Windows app explicitly starts the Files by Google app:
