Describe the bug
Could you submit the fix to the NewPipe team after resolving this bug? Also, could you submit the features you added and all the bugs you fixed to the NewPipe team?
You'd better resolve the screen rotation issue for these aspect ratio videos in automatic fullscreen mode. They are 3:4, 2:3, 5:8, 3:5, 9:16, 9:18, 9:18.5, 9:19, 9:19.5, 9:20, and 9:21. I've already disabled "Auto-rotate screen" in the system to ensure accurate test results. Also, if possible, could you allow users to manually set the default fullscreen rotation for 1:1 videos?
Frequency
Always (100% of the time)
Device
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, LineageOS 23.2, Android 16
Steps to reproduce the bug
Settings - Player - Default resolution - 360p
Settings - Behavior - Start main player in fullscreen
BiliBili - Search - 短视频
When you open a video shot on a portrait-oriented phone, it rotates in the automatic full-screen player.
Exiting automatic full-screen mode and then clicking the full-screen button displays portrait mode.
