DefaultNodeHeight does not seem to work

I have a Delphi 13 VCL application where VST is used as tree like menu.
Now it looks like it is more cramped than before so I looked at default note height and increased that a bit.
But it had no effect.

toNodeHeightResize and toVariableNodeHeight are off and OnMeasureItem / OnGetNodeHeight are not defined.
The nodes are all added at runtime.

Windows screen zoom is at 100%.

Is it possible that you've set toAutoChangeScale?

Most likely. Sorry, but I haven't found the time for further investigation!!! I need to find the time once certain other things (e.g. preparation of a lecture at the local university) are finished.

Also have similar problem with current sources. Will try to make reproducible example. Set toAutoChangeScale to False, works good. With toAutoChangeScale = True Nodes, which are created manual Height, have collapsed Height (not sure how to describe). Cannot reproduce on simple example, but in real project is reproducible.

Interesting, that you see this problem as well. I had made some attempt to create aa small demo showing this, but the demo worked as it should. I'd really be interested in a fix and I hope to find more time for that in the near future (but that's at the moment a hope only)

Investigated the case. When toAutoChangeScale is True (which is default for Virtual Tree View), when grid is created in OnShow event of the form all is OK, when grid is created in OnCreate event of the form, node heights ARE DISTINCT from values set from code in runtime.

When toAutoChangeScale is False, in both cases (OnShow and OnCreate) node heights ARE CORRECT.

In my case (D13.1), the VST has been placed on the form at design time and that toAutoChangeScale is turned off and I don't see any place in my code which changes that at runtime. DefaultNodeHeight is set to 38 at design time and the debuger says it is still so at the end of OnShow event.

Ok, after further playing around with that property it looks like the current commit (downloaded after 13.1 came out) fixes at least my case.

I just run it in 13.1, this is what I got after clicking both buttons:

Yes, same with Delphi 12. But in code item heights are set same for both form2 and form3 and they must be 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 (like in Form3, which is correct).

If you change toAutoChangeScale to False for both forms , node heights will be like in Form3 (10, 20, 30, 40, 50) for both of the forms.
