What happened?

At first it was working, but I closed it and reopen it just displays no metadata was available to view. I have checked with TweakPNG, the metadata was there. Have tried clear cache, reset and reinstall but still not working. All image does not display metadata at all.

Steps to reproduce

1. First install was good
2. During index, close and reopen app
3. Now all metadata does not show

Hi there!

Since you mentioned closing the app during indexing its possible that the local database or a state file got corrupted. standard reinstalls may not wipe the local application data folder, which explains why the issue persists.

Try performing a "Clean Reset" manually to rule out database corruption: close the app and delete the image-metahub folder that's in AppData\Roaming\ (this will reset settings/cache/tags/favorites, so you may want to backup the folder first) -- then try adding the folder again.

If this doesn't work, I'd appreciate if you please send me the console log (Ctrl+Shift+I).

I found out there's a cut off, all images before that that img 00084-xxxx (refer to screenshot) don't show information will results in "No normalized metadata available" I have deleted the folder under AppData/Roaming/image-metahub after uninstall, then reinstall again. The total images are around 100k, but the cut off only have recent around ~10k images, earlier than that does not show metadata.

In which section of the console log I need to provide to you?

Ah, perfect
For the logs: just check the Console tab in DevTools (Ctrl+Shift+I). You're looking for any red error text that appears right when the list stops loading.

Also, try moving that specific 00083 file out of the folder. If the rest of the 90k images load after removing it we know that specific file is corrupt and crashing the loop.

Meanwhile I'll check if this issue could be related to the number of subfolders/images...

Either way, if the issue is with that specific file, it shouldn't be corrupting the rest. Would you send this image here so I can test it?

Sorry for the late reply. Was getting busy lately. Anyway, I tried again today, but seems like its working now. Instead of keep clicking "Reload" and "Force Reload" option, I simply remove the folder and click add another folder contains my txt-img output, it seems like it was able to display the image. Not sure whether if its because of too many subfolders or files causes the issue or not (795 subfolders, 107000 images).
