[GPLv2 Violation] Kernel sources for Xiaomi 11T (agate/amber)

Dear Xiaomi Kernel Open Source Team and Community Managers,

We respectfully request the release of the latest, complete, and corresponding kernel source code for the Xiaomi 11T (codenames agate and amber).

The Xiaomi 11T was shipped in October 2021 running a modified Linux kernel, with the latest version being ~4.19. The Linux kernel is distributed under GPL-2.0-only. GPL v2 §3 requires that anyone who distributes a GPL-covered work in binary/object form must also provide the complete corresponding source code.

The community has tried reaching out to you in different ways over the past four years, yet we have received no response.

There are other devices using similar or identical MediaTek chips: ares, chopin, pissarro, not to mention the Xiaomi 11T Pro (codename vili), a device released at the same time as the Xiaomi 11T. The kernel sources for these devices are present in the repository, so we don't see a reason why agate was left behind.

As of April 2026, the kernel sources for this device are absent from the repository. Thus, we request either of the following:

1. The publication of the latest, complete, and corresponding kernel source code for the Xiaomi 11T (agate / amber) in this repository, or
2. An official statement or a timeline regarding its release.

Without kernel sources, it is difficult, if not impossible, to provide community-based support for this device, including security patches, performance optimizations, and Android version upgrades.
