Feature request: include "is executable" in metadata

I can guess why this isn't supported: because #63 only included cross platform metadata, and "is executable" is not cross platform.

Is this something you'd be open to adding? I'm fairly new to Rust, but my understanding is that this could be hidden behind a platform specific feature.

If the owner would like I could try to make a PR, however some things should be clarified.
In windows, there are multiple "executable" files, besides .exe such as .scr, how would the be handled?

It looks like I neglected to mention this in my OP: my ulterior motive here is to be able to extract a directory containing executables and actually run them. It's not enough to just capture the "is executable" bit in the metadata, it's also important to restore that metadata during extraction, which this crate currently does not do (I filed #97 to track that).
