<h2>About the Mullins Lab </h2>
 <p> After more than 4 decades of research in virology, the lab of James I Mullins has closed down as Jim retired in early 2025.
  During his career, the Mullins Lab used a variety of techniques to understand the implications of HIV's extraordinary genetic diversity
  for the pathogenesis of AIDS, and apply this information to the development of more effective therapies and vaccines.
  Jim continues to work from home wrapping up a number of projects and writing publications. </p>
