Requests return 404

when requesting one of AuthModule's endpoints that require authorization without sending a token it returns 404 not found instead of 401 unauthorized, might be something that has to do with ApplicationParts and the controllers existing in another assembly, it's mentioned in the docs that it's a common problem when using application parts, but I still don't understand what causes it and how to solve it.
