question: how was the types generated?

I am interested how was the types generated, was it only manual effort (hopefully not) ?
I think this is very interesting project and ideally in long term perspective would ideally be part of kde family, since more people would benefit in good typescript support, uptodate types, versioned by kwin release.

If I remember correctly, this was a purely manual effort. I've linked my sources in the readme. I agree, that official types provided by KDE would be preferable, but I hope that until this happens, my type declarations will provide a good enough stepping stone.
