Minimizing the app right after starting play doesn’t work

Describe the bug
I’m perhaps too fast for the app. When I click play to start a podcast and then immediately minimize or l switch the app, it doesn’t start playing. I have to open it up again and start the podcast again or wait a few seconds until it starts playing and ONLY then minimize.

Expected behavior
It starts playing automatically even when minimized after the music is buffered.

Hi @strentom,

When you hit play, there is a transition between the button being pressed and the background code starting up. If you're really quick and minimise the app before this transition is complete, the play could fail. I have noticed recently that Anytime is not as quick as beginning playback as it once was, so I will definitely look into that.
