Observer is an open experiment in collapse and persistence for purpose-bearing systems.

If you found this repository, something brought you here — maybe you've watched an AI agent loop itself to death, maybe you've thought about what it means for a system to "give up," or maybe you're just curious about state-lifting and inversion geometry.

Whatever the reason, we'd like to hear from you.

Some starting questions

• Have you seen collapse in the wild? If you run AI agents and have watched them loop, stall, or try to end themselves, your traces are the most valuable thing this project needs.
• Does the theory make sense? The core claim is that observation becomes effective only when fed back into the update law. Does this match your intuition? Where does it break?
• What domain are you in? This framework was born from AI agent behavior, but the structure may apply to multi-agent systems, organizational dynamics, education, or anywhere purpose-bearing systems get stuck.
