Same for me. Unfortunately the code is not running.

TypeScript error: birthday.effects.ts(39,24): Error TS2345: Argument of type '(update: StateUpdate) => Action' is not assignable to parameter of type '(value: StateUpdate, index: number) => Birthday'.
Type 'Action' is not assignable to type 'Birthday'.
Property '_id' is missing in type 'Action'.
