1. git clone the repo
2. Run following commands

   export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/go/bin

Hi @anilsamuel, I tried running the unit tests on my environment and they are passing fine. If you are trying to build the artifacts for Linux, I suggest running this command

make amazon-cloudwatch-agent-linux package-rpm
