[UI/UX] Add Light Theme Toggle

Current Design/Experience

The site currently uses a dark-only theme. Adding an optional light theme would improve accessibility and user comfort for those who prefer light backgrounds, especially in bright environments.

Proposed Improvement

• Add a light/dark theme toggle
• Use CSS variables for theming
• Persist user preference (e.g., localStorage)

This would be a small, non-breaking UI enhancement.

Hello @akash-kumar-dev, I noticed this issue was assigned earlier but is now free again.
I would like to work on it as part of SWoC '26.

My plan is straightforward: add a light theme option, make it easy for users to switch between light and dark, and remember their choice so it stays the same when they come back. This will make the site more comfortable for users who prefer lighter backgrounds or are browsing in bright environments.

I already checked the issue and it seems doable without changing how the current dark theme looks or breaking anything else on the site. If this is alright, please assign this issue to me so I can get started.
