Sending Events to JavaScript not working

react native: 0.77.2 - old arch
brownfield: 1.0.0

Description

JS cannot receive events from native when I open React Native via brownfield. If I turn off brownfield, it works fine.

Hey, please provide a good reproduction example. Are you sending your own custom events?

Hi @colindoan . We didn't experience the problem you are describing. If this is a RN turbo module using the RCTDeviceEventEmitter running on Expo, it won't work - for Expo, there is a separate system. Or, you can use codegen-generated events emitters, this will work.

I'm closing the issue since we did not get any other reports of this, and we don't have enough context in this issue and it's old. In case this is still a problem, please post some more context or a minimal reproducer - I'd be happy to revisit this issue.
