View in context error for PDF coded as image

Describe the bug :


When right-clicking from a coding report on an image annotation of a PDF file to "view in context" reports it "Cannot open" the PDF file. Clicking OK opens a blank image viewer.

To Reproduce :


Import a PDF file and code using code image. Create a coding report that returns the coded segment. Right-click and select view in context.

Expected behavior :


An image of the current PDF page (that the image was coded from) appears. Alternatively, the context menu is disabled for PDFs coded as images.

Hello Nathaniel,
I have followed the instructions and for me (Windows 11) it displays correctly.

The pdf page image should be located inside the qda project folder:

The error is saying - it cannot find this image. Can you check the pdf image page is in the images folder. Also on you mac, when coding a new pdf image, can you check the QC puts an pdf page image in the images folder in the project.

@ndporter Ah yes. Finally, I replicated the error.
I have uploaded a fix for this now.
