File (pdf) upload and link in posts

As images contribute to posts, files are (I suppose) even more important as with that feature you're able to archive perfectly. It should not be that complex to implement and this is for sure highly appreciated by most people using this perfect blog!

Totally agree with vervuiler: in my opinion, pdf (at least, but why not other kind of files format defined in the dashboard as a nice2have) integration is the only main missing point of the great HTMLy

I perfectly agree - it will be useful to upload some files other than images. At least pdf, zip, 7z and gz extensions (will evaluate a few more). I already implemented it in my local dev installation, going to commit on my repo. I'll send this to HTMLy on next pull request, just waiting the merge/reject of current one. Here's a couple of screenshots.
