Temporarily workaround drush support on Drupal main branch

drush/drush conflicts with drupal/core-recommended after Symfony 8 merged in so installation fails until drush/drush is removed from composer.json

Would the following work to remove drush from any main branch installs?

What is the install technique without Drush? Drupal has one, right (from command line). We could do that, and skip drush if on main.

I guess we could also use a few weeks old commit of d12 as well

there is no working PR that introduces compatibility at this point. there was drush-ops/drush#6535 but it got closed for the other one drush-ops/drush#6534

What is the install technique without Drush? Drupal has one, right (from command line). We could do that, and skip drush if on main.

There is no CLI alternative in core. The install CLI command only works with SQLite. I had been working on that in an issue to allow providing dburl several years ago, but I had not been able to add working tests for it so it has been languishing.

The only alternative is to allow the user to install from the UI, @rfay
