Prototype Design for BurnAndMintToken (BMT)

Overview

This document outlines the design of the prototype for the BurnAndMintToken (BMT) web application. The prototype will focus on user experience (UX), functionality, and integration with the blockchain ecosystem.

1. User Interface (UI) Design

1.1 Layout

  • Header:
    • Logo of BurnAndMintToken.
    • Navigation menu with links to Home, Token Dashboard, Governance, and FAQs.
    • Wallet connection button (e.g., "Connect Wallet").

1.2 Main Section

  • Token Dashboard:
    • Display user wallet balance.
    • Buttons for minting and burning tokens.
    • Transaction history section showing recent transactions.

1.3 Governance Dashboard

  • Voting Interface:
    • List of active proposals with details.
    • Voting buttons for each proposal (e.g., "Vote Yes", "Vote No").
    • Display results of past votes.

1.4 Footer

  • Links to educational resources, social media, and contact information.

2. User Experience (UX) Considerations

2.1 Simplicity

  • Keep the design clean and uncluttered to enhance usability.

2.2 Consistency

  • Use consistent colors, fonts, and icons throughout the application.

2.3 Accessibility

  • Ensure the application is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.

3. Prototype Tools

3.1 Design Tools

  • Figma: For creating wireframes and high-fidelity designs.
  • Adobe XD: For prototyping and user flow testing.

3.2 Development Tools

  • React.js: For building the frontend of the application.
  • Tailwind CSS: For styling and responsive design.

4. Prototype Features

4.1 Wallet Integration

  • Allow users to connect their wallets (MetaMask, WalletConnect) seamlessly.

4.2 Token Management

  • Enable users to mint, burn, and transfer BMT tokens easily.

4.3 Governance Participation

  • Allow users to participate in governance decisions through a simple voting interface.

5. Testing the Prototype

5.1 User Testing

  • Conduct user testing sessions to gather feedback on the prototype.
  • Iterate on the design based on user feedback to improve usability and functionality.

Conclusion

This prototype design document serves as a foundation for developing the BurnAndMintToken web application. By focusing on user experience and functionality, we aim to create an engaging platform for users to interact with the BMT token.
