can't rotate screen!

I've got a raspberry pi 4 with touch display 2 (2nd version, 720x1280).
I want to use it in landscape mode, tilted by 270º..
In cmdline.txt I've realized I can control only the boot screen rotation, when chromium loads up the screen goes back to portrait mode. Help me.. I'm stuck here by a month, I've searched online, tried and tried so many solutions..
Even changing start_gui "display_orientation=left(or right)" does nothing.
I've tried all type of commands in cmdline.txt, the screen keeps turning back in portrait mode during boot splashscreen and after, in chromium..
I've also tried all the solutions I've found online to modify config.txt.. nothing changes..
Chatgpt suggested to modifi start_chromium_browser using xrandr, copied end pasted it, the screen stays in landscape mode even in chromium BUT THE TOUCHSCREEN REMAINS IN PORTRAIT..making the screen useless..

yes, doesn't work.
I've just figured out how to achieve both image+touch tilted by 270°, I hope it will be helpful to people(like me) struggling with touch display 2 landscape configuration:

in start_chromium_browser:

Assicurati che X sia pronto <--- wait X to be ready

export DISPLAY=:0
sleep 5 # lascia X e matchbox partire

Ruota il touch <---- rotate touch control

/opt/custompios/scripts/rotate.sh left

Ruota l'immagine di X <--- rotate image

xrandr --output DSI-1 --rotate left

Standard behavior - runs chromium

chromium-browser "${flags[@]}" --app=$(/opt/custompios/scripts/get_url)
exit;

So the FPOS embedded and configurable way of doing this is not working anymore?
Hm, seems to be an inconsistent task. Has been discussed several times what‘s the best supported way of doing this. Looks like the Pi OS changed the behavior for controlling the screen and touch in the right way more than once.

I think the problem is touch display v2(I've got only this one😅), maybe with touch display v1 you can tilt the display image by config.txt, idk!

Yeah... It's the official touch display 2..
