beatmapper

Simple webapp for mapping quantized beats to metadata. Created by 64bitpandas

Usage

  1. Either navigate to [beatmapper.hexcaliber.dev](https://beatmapper.hexcaliber.dev), or clone the repository and open index.html.
  2. Drag and drop the sound file to map.
  3. Press space to play/pause, and the numbers 1, 2, and 3 to create beats at the current time.
  4. Once you're done, click the 'Export' button to generate the beatmap.

Settings

  • Zoom: How much of the song the viewer displays.
  • BPM: Beats per minute (higher = faster).
  • Quantize: Choose whether or not to snap markers to the nearest whole beat.
