Chromium still insists on downloading videos instead if playing them

Hello. With the Undisposition extension, Chromium will play browser supported videos like mp4, but it won't play unsupported videos like mkv or mov. I was hoping this extension would bridge that gap, but apparently not. Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks

This extension doesn't alter the default browser behavior, so you'll need to right-click and send the media link to the player. I can't guarantee whether the player will support the media, as it depends on your browser's codec compatibility. If the browser doesn't support the required codec, there's no workaround from the extension's side—media playback is a low-level operation that browser extensions can't control.
