Example Launch and Documentation Samples for Configuration Possibilities

Hi,

I eventually got a local (overriding Proj to not look for a grid file) coordinate system in place by editing the sidebar.html as I could not work the .json or xlm application examples successfully for the measure tool.

This led to various looks around the code and from the test examples it appears I should be able to set various launch parameters such as coordinate precision and display. At present my map (WebLayout) is reporting X: Y: in 6 significant figures but I would like to show E: and N: to 1dp

If this is possible, can some examples be added for manipulating, for example, sidebar.html or other best place/practice.

Being on a WebLayout unfortunately limits the customization potential.

Regarding this:

If you were on an Application Definition, from the 0.14.8 release onwards we can take advantage of the root <Extension> element to store custom projections (or you can wait until the next release of Maestro due next week, to add these custom projections with a UI)

Again, being on a WebLayout limits us here. There is nothing in the WebLayout schema to control coordinate display and formatting. For an Application Definition, you can at least control the formatting, but the unit part is still based on the widget's configured projection (falling back to map's projection if not specified).
