[Bug]: UI becomes sluggish upon adding instance of certain plugins

What happened?

Hello, firstly I have to say thanks for all your hard work to on the 1.0 release, its wonderful that this software is being kept alive.

I have encountered a strange issue where upon adding an instance of the Waldorf Blofeld plugin, the Element UI becomes very slow:

I tried all 3 versions of the plugin (vst, vst3, and au) and they all trigger this issue. There are no error messages in the log file. If it would help either for me to try running a debug build of Element to gather more data, please let me know. There is a trial version of the plugin available here: https://waldorfmusic.com/produkt/blofeld-plugin-trial-version/, but if 30 days is not enough time to figure this out I understand and I am willing to temporarily transfer my Blofeld license to you to aid in investigation.

I am running Element on an Intel Mac with macOS version 12.7.6.

Update: I am also experiencing this issue when trying to use the Elektron Overbridge plugin. These are both plugins with many audio out ports: 34 in the case of Blofeld and 32 in the case of Overbridge. In fact it seems to me that the UI is slightly less choppy with Overbridge than it is with Blofeld, and since Overbridge has fewer output ports this leads me to wonder whether the UI responsiveness is being impacted somehow in direct relation to the number of out ports present on an active plugin.

Another data point: I am able to instantiate the 32 output variant of the Nektarine vst3 plugin in Element and then load Blofeld within Nektarine and there is no UI slowdown, so perhaps the issue is not simply a direct result of the number of output ports of a plugin.
