Light extender file

Not really an issue but wanted to share a link to a light extender that can be printed with transparent PLA. It's built in Tinkercad Here as an alternative to purchasing since I found them a bit pricy. Github won't let me attach the STL file.

Cool! Yeah, those light pipes are expensive.

We generally try to avoid specifying particular filament types to manage costs for single builds, but we can certainly add this as an option.

Do you happen to have a photo of a build with the alternative light extender? (Or better yet, a side-by-side with one that has the commercial option?)

Yes, that makes sense about the filament types. Here are some images. I didn't glue in the commercial one yet as it's part of a kit yet to be built but that's the general placement. Hope it's helpful.
