Using Subfolders for Sources

Hello, newbee here. When adding a source the system recommends a directory storage location with the same name as the source. Is it ok to use subfolders like, " subfolder/source name". I want to create separate libraries in Jellyfin based on different topics or interests. Is it necessary to set the permissions the same for all initially created folders?

Lately, I've been using a structure like this when adding a channel and playlists from that channel.

• The channel itself in the channel sub-directory:
  /downloads/video/SomeChannel/channel
• Each playlist in a named sub-directory:
  /downloads/video/SomeChannel/playlists/ThePlaylistName

This way I can add the SomeChannel directory to a library in Jellyfin with everything being available, or pick and choose from channel content or individual play lists by using the sub-directories.
