Help! M5stack Unit C6l firmwares not work

I have tried all the firmware for the M5stack Unit C6l (with and without cleaning the device, and not one of them does not work - after any firmware there is nothing on the screen and the device cannot be connected via the console via usb (it does not connect), while the USD is determined by the system. Can anyone help, maybe who knows who did the firmware?

screen on this device is not implemented. not sure which role you flashed, but you won't be able to connect on Companion Bluetooth via USB.

There is no output on the screen, understood. I'm flashing M5Stack_Unit_C6L_companion_radio_usb-v1.14.1-467959c-merged.bin and M5Stack_Unit_C6L_companion_radio_usb-v1.14.1-467959c.bin I need USB access. I also flashed the router, but I can't connect in any way. There were no problems with the firmware for Meshtastic. Firmware log `esptool.js

I can also confirm that I'm having the same problem - after flashing the companion firmware (merged, also tried formatting all the flash using ESPConnect), and rebooting the device - it doesn't seem to work. Meshcore app on a smartphone works well with my LilyGo T-Deck, but cannot discover the Unit C6L.

I've been fiddling with the firmware all day today and I've only got the firmware available from the M5Burner app working, but they're the old v1.11.0 version.
My guess is that the new firmware has a problem with the built-in ESP32-C6 USB controller. But unfortunately, I don't know how to fix it myself.

On the second day, I found out: On two operating systems (Windows and Linux), the device cyclically reconnects when the port is opened.

The device is visible in lsusb, but when the port is opened, it issues an Input/output error and disappears.

The USB_SERIAL_JTAG_USB_UART_CHIP_RST_DIS register does not solve the problem.

The problem is reproduced on two different operating systems, which means it is a bug in the firmware or in low-level ESP32-C6 support (revision v0.2).

can you try to flash latest nightly? I just hand-built both USB and BLE compations and they work:

btw how are you flashing those bins? *-merged.bin needs to be flashed to 0x0 and non-merged to 0x10000. Official MeshCore flasher does have "Custom firmware" at the end of the list - you can safely use it with files from github releases and nightly.

I'm more interested in the USB firmware (companion_radio_usb-merged).
The bug has not been fixed in the nightly build (or has not been fully fixed).
