Clipboard issue in Fedora 43 Cinnamon

Its not possible to copy from msedit into something else.

i have tried the following terminal emulators:

• GNOME Terminal
• kitty

Im using Fedora 43 Cinnamon Spin

I'll leave this issue open just in case someone comes along with an idea of why this happens to you.

However, msedit works just fine for me with kitty. It uses a standard OSC 52 sequence to set the clipboard contents. There are two possibilities I can think of:

• You have Ctrl+C bound in your terminals already
• You're pasting the wrong clipboard (Linux has 3 after all)

Another possibility could be that clipboard write access has been disabled in kitty. There's a clipboard_control option that controls what clipboard actions are permitted. Write access should be enabled by default, but OP may have disabled it at some point.

As for GNOME Terminal, that uses the VTE library which doesn't yet support OSC 52, so it's expected that that wouldn't work.
