Repro Steps:

1. Run ''git clone https://github.com/alexweininger/ReactSite" and then open this project in VS Code.
2. Go to the "Run and Debug" menu by clicking the icon in the Activity Bar.
3. Use the dropdown, select "Azure Static Web Apps…".
   
4. Check whether no error occurs.

Expect:
No error occurs.

Actual:
An error occurs.

1. This issue does not reproduce on VS Code Version: 1.95.3.
2. This issue also reproduces on current release version v0.12.2.
