With the kids running in the hallway, and playing with our door, the current modus operandi is to just completely lock the door. This sort of contradicts our openness, so here's a different approach:
- We implement a third state of the door, let's call it "SEMI_LOCKED".
- Even though the space is technically open, the door remains locked.
- The door will unlock, when you press a certain key on the pinpad.
- The display shows a message reflecting this, and give instructions as to what to do to enter the space.
-> Kids won't be able to open the door as easy.
-> But still, people even without a token can come in easily.
