We're in the process of migrating the old docs from the wiki to the /docs directory, a few things to consider:
- the old wiki docs should not be copy+pasted into the new /docs, rather we should go one file at a time && make necessary updates (as many of the docs in the old wiki are very out-dated)
- should we work on HTML docs rather than MD? so we might make nicer page? maybe netnet themed docs? similar to how the netizen.org netnet case-study page is netnet themed.
- alternatively, we could make a docs "widget", so that student/teacher docs are integrated directly into netnet (would make docs like this way more engaging)
- we should also add a new "dev ethics" doc which describes our dev values. before taking on too many other contributors it would be helpful to articulate the ethical framework we've been using. for example: how we keep the code base structured in as legible way as possible for those who "view source", how we do everything we can to limit data-collection && protect user privacy (one of the biggest challenges for widgets like Files+Folders). how we don't use 3rd party tools that might compromise this (like google analytics or other APIs, especially no AI APIs), etc
