FAQ

Is Github Engine working today?

Not as a production engine. The repository is in a foundation phase focused on product definition, architecture direction, and output design.

What does it do now?

Today, it provides a clear project vision, architecture concept, roadmap, and example artifacts that define expected output quality for future implementation.

What is planned?

Planned capabilities include repository scanning, project intent understanding, README improvement, test/build/quality snapshots, comparative project insight, and MCP-enriched recommendations.

Why is MCP part of the roadmap?

MCP integrations can provide operational and ecosystem context that makes recommendations more accurate, more prioritized, and more useful in real workflows.

Who is this for?

Builders, solo founders, AI toolmakers, agent workflow teams, and developer platforms that want stronger repository intelligence and improvement loops.

Will it become a CLI, API, or both?

The long-term direction includes both a CLI and API surface. Interface scope will be finalized as core engine capabilities mature.
