Triaged this issue — CVE-2025-71176 affects pytest through 9.0.2 (predictable /tmp/pytest-of-{user} directory). There is currently no patched version of pytest available (remediation marked N/A by Mend).

Risk assessment: Low for this repo. The vulnerability requires local access to the machine running tests, and claude-code-observability-plugin/tests/ is a test-only dependency — not shipped to production.
