Error on Persons detail page: Uncaught TypeError: e.item is null

I get an error on my People Details page:
Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: e.item is null

Steps to reproduce:

• assign a role to a person
• delete the role
• delete the item where the role is used
• go to the persons detail page

Expected behavior:

• I can see the persons details

Actual behavior:

• No details are visible
• Uncaught error is thrown
