Background slideshow sometimes doesn't work when client initially loads

Issue:
When the client initially loads, the "Search" menu item is selected by default. Sometimes, when the client loads, the background slideshow images don't display until you cycle through the menu to a "content" section/menu item.

• Usually, I get the background slideshow when client loads, but sometimes I don't
• If I have a local PMS running, it seems to always work
• If I have a PMS on a different computer on the local network, then whether I get the background slideshow to start or not seems dependent on whether the PMS sections are found immediately or take a couple of seconds to appear. If they're not immediate, it seems to cause the slideshow issue
