Rectangle Pro stop work when notification is displayed

Hello,

Rectangle Pro (maybe free version as well) stop work when notification from any app is displayed on screen.

macOS version: 26.3.1
Rectangle version: v3.68 (213)

This also happens with the non-pro Rectangle.app. I had a time machine notification on my screen and dragging windows to resize them did not work until I dismissed the notification.

Thanks for reporting. I can reproduce this with a modal alert window, but not with the Notification Center notifications. Can you clarify what you're seeing this with?

For the modal alert window, that might be a macOS limitation (or design), and there might not be a good workaround for it.

Not sure what modal window is, but for me it happens, for example, when Slack notification is displayed on screen.

I'll test further and see if I can figure out what's going on. If you don't mind, can you open the log window prior to trying to snap a window with a notification present and send me the logs after? Hold the option key in the menu bar menu and select View Logging.

I was able to reproduce it with notifications that don’t immediately go away. No need to add logs; I’ll see what I can do.
