This update is for the 2018 NFL season.
My Team Tab
- Fixed: DST will now lock.
Projections
- Updated: Projections are now updated for the 2018 season.
This update fixes projections not working due to the fantasypros dfs paywall area. It also is now compatible with the DraftKings new .csv format. I've also added a new feature to set exposure limits on players.
I am also in the process of creating a version to stack positions QB/WR, QB/RB, QB/TE. It is not functional at the moment.
Projections
- Fixed: FantasyPros stats are now sourced from this page: https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/projections/qb.php and then calculated based on DraftKings scoring. The calculations are done in GoogleSheets and automatically updated every 4 hours.
All Players
- Fixed: Sheet is now compatible with the new DraftKings .csv lineup format.
Optimization Features
- New: Added the ability to set a maximum exposure. This Exp column can be updated to limit the amount of lineups the player can be in.
Ex: Setting an exposure of 20% forces the optimization to limit that player to only 20% of the lineups.
Small update to fix the duplicate Chris Thompson issue. Chris Thompson (WR HOU) will be placed on the ignored players list.
My Team Tab
Fix: Chris Thompson added to "ignored players" list
Fixed: Performance tab will properly update when you have more than 45 lineups to evaluate
All Players
- Fixed: Patrick Mahomes spelling to be compatible with fantasypros.
Lineup Errors
- Added: An error message will now pop up if there is an error.
Uploading to DraftKings
- Fixed: Opening and closing the generated .csv file is no longer needed to upload to DraftKings.
Performance Sheet
- Fixed: Formatting issues when not many optimized lineups were created.
My Team
- Fixed: Player news comment markers now get deleted properly. see this issue: #1
Data Connection
- Updated the URL for fantasypros ECR projections page.
If you have problems with refreshing projections try doing the steps outlined below to login to fantasypros inside Excel.
Important steps to get the player projections to work:
- Go to the "Data" tab in Excel and then select "Connections".
- Select "FPProjections" and click the "Properties" button.
- Go to "Definition" and then "Edit Query..."
- This will open the projections page. Select "yes" a ton of times.
- Once you click through the pop-up hell, hover your mouse over the left hand side and move up and down until you see "Log In".
- Select that and login to fantasypros with your credentials.
You should only have to do this once. If this doesn't work go to this issues thread and report there. Someone may have a solution for you.
