Consider allowing a dev window to pop up based on Electron

For development purposes, it might be really nice to have some sort of GUI available...should this be Electron-based? Electron complicates everything. Instead, it would be nice if some sort of server could open up and only have pertinent analytics and some GUI information streamed to the client. Then any web browser could be used to see what's going on in the underlying implementation
