<p>For this project I modeled a simple version of a concept from <a href="http://shimmering-sword.deviantart.com/art/Contact-Loader-Mech-187599361">Shimmering-Sword</a> so I could have a first go at mechanical rigging. All joints are individually controllable and the arms use an IK/FK blend with snapping.</p>
