Have you tried turning on combine charge slots? That might give you behaviour closer to what you expect. |

@johnwb87 no, haven't tried it yet... switch.predbat_combine_charge_slots , turned ON, let's see what happens. Another thing I noticed:
Why do I get this PV values during the night? is this normal ? (this is history view) |

How do you get your PV data into Predbat? Is it generally accurate? That looks like you are very north but also we are basically at the equinox so I think very short nights anywhere at this time of year would be odd. |

Yes, if I check sensor history I find this below, PV data from inverter sensor.
0w all night I am very much south, Madeira Island |

Little help here understanding what happened...
Currently we are having full sun days hence SoC only needs to be around 20-25% in the morning in my specific case, so very little charge is needed.
What I have configured:
Which matches my inverter configuration.
For the last 2 nights I have noticed PB set's the charge period to start at 23h to around 20% of-course even at very low wattage this is reached very fast... what happens next is that my battery falls 1% , PB kicks in and charges again... etc etc for a big part of the night.
Another point I noticed is why PB sets a demand period at 6AM to then charge back up to 20% at 7h45 ?
predbat_260326.log.txt
Could it be a low power charge mode "bug" when used to charge very low % of SoC ?
The behaviour should be charge to 20% just before 9AM, correct?
Thanks!
