New layouts for multi links

What are you trying to do?

When adding multiple links the current layout uses quite a lot of height. In a lot of the new display options in Craft 5 it would be great to make use of a card layout. Using cards, we would be able to remove a considerable amount of page height vastly improving the editability of the page.

What's your proposed solution?

Example below shows 4 links:

My solution would be to use cards, in this view it would be 2x2, full width would be inline, saving a considerable amount of height.

Yes, but this is saying keep the UI as it is and just stack them like cards do in a 50% 25% stack depending on screen size, you can easily half the width here in this specific resolution with no drawbacks etc.

The other feature you reference has its own drawbacks whereas this is just asking for grid stacking.
