@HarshRaj29004 the diffs seem to be changing a lot more than what is actually required. Just Tailwind class changes should've been enough |
|
@its-me-abhishek yes but that will create another overlapping text issue with long text |
|
Makes sense. In that case, we should get rid of
Wrapping and making the fields multi line would be better, since that is being done in Tags/Annotations, etc. already. |
|
@its-me-abhishek I have updated file |
Can this be removed/reverted? Since we are wrapping and showing complete Descriptions, texts. etc. now |
|
@its-me-abhishek I have made the suggested changes. |

Description
Fixed UI issues in the task dialog where edit icons were overlapping with long text and causing layout problems:
Changes Made:
Restructured table layout: Split content and action areas into separate columns with a fixed-width right column (w-32) for all edit/save/cancel icons
Added text truncation: Long text in all fields now displays with ellipsis (
...) instead of wrapping or causing horizontal scrollbarstruncate blockclasses withmax-w-0 w-fullconstraints to content cellstitleattributes for hover tooltips to show full textConsistent icon placement: All edit icons (pencil), save/cancel buttons, and copy button (UUID) now align vertically in the rightmost column
Fixes: Edit icon covers text in task details #431
