CodeSpell 2.1.0 found some spelling mistakes/typos, which I have corrected in this pull request -- English only. Most are in comments, but a few are in variable names, like inital and dispay. The misspelling dispay in one case might be a bug, since the correct spelling, display, is used elsewhere. See usages of
